James Jones helped Green Bay Packers through a difficult season with injury-riddled reserves, and he will get the same opportunity to save San Diego Chargers.
According to the report that Jones have agreed to the contract of San Diego after No.3 wide receiver Stevie Johnson suffered a meniscus and will require surgery.
Jones, 32 years old, joined the Packers’ first seven games last season, quickly became Rodgers’ top target. Packers decide not to bring Jones back by considering his declining speed, but this doesn’t hide the outstanding performance of him with 890 yards and a career-high 17.8 yards-per-catch average.
Jones will play an important role with Keenan Allen and Travis Benjamin as starters in the San Diego.
